In the dim lighting of the room she struggled to read the new word printed on the page. Sounding it out a million times, looking at it upside down, taking away parts of the sentence. Royalty. ROYalty. RoyalTY. royALty. Flustered and irritated she finally threw the book with a loud crash down onto the floor. The commotion toppled over the many others neatly stacked up to the ceiling in the corner. A strange agitated animal like sound burst from her mouth as she ran to pick the books back up. Once upon a time there were no princesses. There were no handsome Prince Charmings. There was only a land of evil. Wicked witches and dragons, step mothers and sisters, old hags and legendary beasts. No grand castles of white marble, but grungy shacks, spiraling towers, and kingdoms of darkness in the height of outer space. Trolls, ogors, and bears roamed the desolate rocky landscape. Poison apples sprouted from every blackened shriveled tree. Beasts and Evil Queens ruled and poisoned the minds of many.It was always midnight as the sky was a dark abyss clouded with dreary nimbus fluffs the moon peaking out once or twice to roar the ocean wave
